Dear group,

I feel a bit loopy today. (I am a bit loopy anyway). This thread got me thinking, is there a formula for choosing which mic to use? I'm thinking that I have one mic which is sort of a newscaster mic (ElectroVox 635A). So I was thinking that was like reportage style; like they say in art. But I don't know what my other mics mean? now that I think there are some categories. I've got a Truvox, that's for gospels/beatitudes and a omni ribbon? That's where I get lost. Maybe I need to consult my muse?

I'm fairly new - but 'Do I suck, please be honest' seems to be a big one. Best when followed by a couple pages of taking offense at the replies, but that doesn't seem to happen too often.

I don't mind the question tooooo much. I hate when they take offense. If you didn't wanted to be critiqued than you shouldn't have asked for it. If someone gets offended it seems to me they were only fishing for compliments.
 
An annoying question to me is just one where the asker doesn't much care for or even want an answer. But I find you get this a lot in life.

Some threads I've read loads of decent people have taken the time to reply and give their opinion and the original poster never even comes back to say thanks. :spank:
