More VM 200

I'm having difficulties with the inbuilt effects.

I can't seem to get the effects to work on tracks that I've already recorded. Is there any way to add effects to a track or can they only be added while one is recording the track.

Please help. I'm a bit stuck:(
 
Yup, you can add effects during recording or after, either way is possible. There is a setting on the VM200 for Post Fader (adding effects after routing : ie Recording) or Pre fader (adding effects during recording) these setting are for the AUX sends including EFF1 and EFF2. Read pages 117 and 118 of your Fostex VM200 manual. If you don't have a manual I'll scan those pages for you. I know sometimes the manual is not great but I do recommend that you try reading it. There are so many great things that the VM200 can do.
