I don't know if it's still available, but Clif uses Clubtracks. He was able to move some tracks along the timeline with it to synch up with other tracks, which is something I couldn't do with n-Track. Pricewise, I think he caught it on sale for $10 or $15....been a long time, don't really remember. I was in a hurry to get a program, so I got n-Track because it's instant download and I like it a lot. Plus, I already had a lot of VST plug-ins.
Another thing I do, I have been writing so many songs lately that I don't have time to do what I consider "real" recordings. I just pop down a couple of tracks, so I don't forget the tune and bounce to 7/8 and convert to .wav and transfer it to the computer to save for later. That is basically what this machine was designed to do I think. I have my son talked into buying one because he has written songs that he has forgotten. Truth be known, that's why I bought the machine....it just got a little out of control from there.
