This has to be the wierdest song I've ever done......
I put this here over a year ago, now I've remixed it so I can put it on my CD.
Would love to hear your comments and suggestions on the mix. Hope it doesn't scare you.....:D

It's called Falling Apart.

This is great. Great tone, great drum sound, great vocals, great mix. Makes me want to go back to the drawing board with my shit.

Legion, I absolutely love your stuff, so I hope you share more of it with us. ;)
Thanx for the nice comments, I appreciate it. :):):):)

And yet ANOTHER cool fuckin groove. I love the vox fx. Everything is nice and crisp. Personally I would like to hear more "bass-in-your-face", but that is just me. Great harmonies, nice work.

Thanx D!
Yeah, this is over a year old now and these days I'm recording the bass differently, besides that I have another bass guitar now, much better than the old cheapo fire-wood one...:D Right now I just feel like completing these songs and moving on to new stuff, so I'll see if I feel like recording the bass again.
Appreciate your opinion! :):):)

You sound angry in this one!
Terrific recording and performances.
Put me on the mailing list for orders!

There's everything to like about this track!!

Great playing, great sounds and, importantly for me, there's lots of movement.

I particularly like the background vocals doing their "falling apart" thing. They sound huge.

And just when you think you've heard all there is to hear, there is a magnificient change around the 3 minute mark. This contrast gives life to everything else.

Someone mentioned that more in-your-face bass might be cool, but I reckon it's okay as it is.

There is certainly a lot of punch in this.

I'm not normally a great fan of vocal effects, but they are appropriate in the context of this song.

Awesome!

Wow, thanx Gecko!
It was a song i really enjoyed doing. The idea for the Mediterranean chant in the variation came to me after watching the movie 300. There's that sort of lamenting chant in the soundtrack that inspired me. I then recorded the evil voices, an electronic drumkit and some keys in the background. It seemed to fit in the context of the song.
Really appreciate your comments! :):):):)

Yes, I sang it before I had my first cuppa tea in the morning to retain that angry frustrated feel.....:D
Thanx for your comments as always, Ray! :):):):)

Excellent. Nice and tight playing, dig the vox and the effects.

That mid section is really messed up. I wish I had some drugs around here.:D:cool:

Jeebus-Frikkin-Crites, Joey!!!! There's so many great things about this song. Don't know where to start. A lot of anger here... who got the receiving end of this one?? ha ha ha.... :D

Awesome Joey. Very nice. Drums sound great. Guitars sound great. Mix sounds great. Everything = great! I like the breakdown. Creepy. I think satan just crawled through my bathroom mirror.

The very end seems like it's cut off or something. Maybe fix that.

Very well done.

Thanx for the nice comments, Greg!
Actually I was aiming for that kind of sudden ending. I wanted it to sound like the song had hit a brick wall....:D

The drums are performed, or programed? I like 'em alot!

They're programmed, BB! I used Addictive Drums, which I have discarded now in favour of Battery, cos I wasn't entirely happy with it. I don't use loops when I programme drums, just drag'n'drop here and there, but otherwise it's all mapped manually and not quantized.
Thanks for listening in! :):)
