Moon Is Shining

My daughter is a singer/songwriter/ guitarist. She recently relocated to Boston from Los Angeles. She paid a visit in October 2005 with her friend Malibu who plays bass guitar. We recorded a live version of "Moon Is Shining" with a minimum of overdubbing.

Please tell us what it is you hear that is right......or what it is you hear that isn't right.

The vocals are not consistent in volume so I would maybe compress them a bit more or automate the volume (I just heard that done by DavidK and it really made a difference).

They could also use a bit of mid/bottom end and maybe a db of boost.

Good catchy song.

Really like the guitar sounds you have....

Guitar is nice....
Maybe compress the whole mix a small amount with a multiband, and see if it gels a bit more....not much, but a small amount.

Nice tune, just some rought spots. Tame those, and it will be just fine.
