Can anyone give me a diagram of how to connect a 3 din plug to a mono 6.3 female jack I saw one on the internet but Ive lost it.

Going from what piece of equipment to what?

These things are important as it depends on what pin is HOT on the equipment interfacing the XLR plug.

So you are talking about a DIN plug not XLR.
