Monitors.. a big big world!

Hey!
You see, monitors are sometimes all about spec and money. But first of all look at what you want, and where are you gonna use them. If you room is properly design and you have a good acoustic treatmen, well, then you can look for good speakers. Brands like quested, atc, adam, b&w (pasive), tannoy, JBL LSR , pmc ,genelec and KRK are very good but sometimes expensive... In the other hand you can find, beheringer, Mackie, M audio, and others in a lower price, but then again, what do you need.??

Try the LSR 4328 JBL, or Mackie HR824, Dynaudio B5 are very good, or the quested S7.
If you need more help, let me know. Like room space, position of mixing, and type of music are important issues.

Take care

The ones that sound best to you in the price range that you can afford. Period.

You have to give us a price range if you want help. Active monitors go from $100/pair to thousands of dollars.

There are several price/quality humps, of course. If you're looking to keep these for a long time and not hate them in a year, I would start looking around in the $500 range.
