* I erroneously posted this in another forum, this seems a more fitting place to post, not to mention I can use all the help/advice I can get*
My current PC speakers are shit, I don't want to buy something quarter assed, I'd like to get something to last a while.
I am hoping on being able to run monitors directly from my souncard.
Is this a usual application in anyone/everyone's experience for nearfield monitors?
What kind of monitors are good for an overall reliable freq. response?
Any user experience with Yorkvilles, if so, are they worth their price?
How dependant upon your soundcard is the overall quality, despite having decent monitors?
Any other input is greatly appreciated....
