Monitors Bandwidth

I have seen that most of the 200-400 $ near.field monitors out there have a bandwidth from 45-50 Hz to 20 KHz.

Does the lack of lower frequencies ( 20 Hz to 45-50 Hz) affects while mixing down?

Among these monitors which one if used more often or what could you say about them:::

Behringer Truth; Samson, Alesis One.

The Proto-J's are used by many people on the board. They're the only monitors I've every used, but I think they're pretty good. I still need to get to know them better though.
