Monitor issues

Hi, I've just purchased on of these M-audio USB interfaces http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/83742
and i was wondering if there were any means of connecting its line outputs to these passive monitors ?

when i use this interface in logic or m-powered protools, i cant seem to get any playback through the mac output, so i think i need to connect speakers to the interface

sorry if this is quite vague, im a bit of a noob with recording. thanks

Passive monitors require an amp to drive them.

So yes, you can connect the speakers to the interface, but you need a power amp stuck between them

yeah

get a nice second hand amp and you will have a decent cheap monitor set up! The Behringer 1 C's are great value!
