At what height should my studio monitors be set? Should it be at ear level, or little above? Thanks for the help.

Yo Nightime Yellow Skin:
If you can't immediately get speaker stands to raise your speakers, at least get them off the carpet or floor. Use a couple of books to raise up the speakers. I have a neat pair of wooden stands but I'd like to get my speakers up a bit more soon.
