Give me a nice, big, fat, Gibson jazz box. And some extra bbq sauce on the side.

Sure would like to get my hands on this.

I'm all about a custom shop Les Paul, looking much like the Elegant, with a custom red/black sunburst flame. Tone chambers, and a piezo bridge (do they even make those tuneomatic?) Maybe make 2, and make the 2nd smei-hollow with F-Holes.

If I had to pick one thats already made, definately the Les Paul Elegant. God that thing is beautiful. (The lead singer from Sunny Day Real Estate got a BEAUTIFUL golden colored one with F-Holes in it custom from Gibson, I drooled over a picture of it for DAYS)

i built mine

although i still miss my les paul standard that a scumbag stole from me along with my fender dual showman with red knobs and 4 12 cab

my other guitar is a custom made, while building this ax i wanted to make sure that i got what was the best stuff all on one so it features;

-emg 81 bridge pu with only a volume control(thats all you need the amp should do the rest heck i could of just used a volume peddle but the emg wont work that way

-jackson shark inlay neck explorer style (the srat one was not availible) i swear this is the thinnest neck allowed by law. almost pays itself man

-kahler pro tremolo (i dont use it much but it is there when i need it)

-warmoth ash body only oil finnish on the neck as well

eddy van halen visited my local music store and even picked it up. he diddnt offer me any money for it but three months later he started endorsing the kramer barreta (it also has an explorer neck)

i know what you are going to say you are a lier right
well i hope i fished some of you in.

at least the guitar is real ha ha

Maybe this one... :D

*drooling*

DAMN! i guess it's gonna take forever for the dude to reply... but i'll wait. man that diablo.... yum yum yum

H2H, you're right about both the link, and the price.

I saw Driskill write a little about his guitars on the PRSforum (just window shopping. :) ) and he sounds like the real deal. A couple people who owned or played his guitars said they were the best they had ever touched. Here... found the link to the thread: http://208.185.165.188/forum/ubb/Forum17/HTML/000537.html

His price range is from ~$2500-3800 he said, though it can go higher for extravagance. He makes every guitar himself from start to finish.

Yeah, it's damn expensive, but maybe not, if you're looking at spending $3k on a nice PRS. Now, like I said in the thread about Ed Roman Guitars... "Which kidney should I sell first?"

ok what about signing my soul away to the devil? he will give me a diablo in return. pretty good deal i think... but will the devil hold up his part of the deal...;)

guhlenn

ps that bridge alone is worth an engineering price! and i mean he exctually thought about the pickup mounting rings.... sweet

seems he did ok by robert johnson, but of course he died kinda young and no one seems to be sure how.but he did achieve fame.so i guess you pay the fare and then you get to see where the ride goes.

you were talking of making a deal with the devil.just letting you know how it worked out for someone else.read your previous post.if you want to make that deal the crossroads are highways 61 and 49 in clarkdale ms.usa.i try to avoid the area myself.

You talkin' 'bout that movie with the Karate Kid? Yeah...I'd like to hear a Pignose sound like THAT!

no dude i'm talking about the real robert johnson.one of the truely blues greats.his music was stolen by some of the rock greats of the 60's and70's.check him out.
yea i'd like one of those pignose's too.

Not only that, but his guitar playing was better than his karate!

sorry man, i'm utterly stupid. but, as i'm european, can you explain that highway crossing thing... is it an insider joke?

I thought it was just in a movie...but now I'm being told it is for real? The movie is Crossroads with Ralph Machio AKA The Karate Kid.

although i never seen the movie i think it's a sweet deal. (hey, i buy on ebay too, it cannot get worse... call me a sucker;))
