Ok..I read the thread on another board..and I'm still tryin to figure why anyone would want to d this..

Would you pay to be on a Mixtape, with Major artists by a unknown DJ or Producer?
 
Some would just on chance. I wouldn't. Now if it was a well known producer's mixtape that I know would push units underground and mainstream hell yeah, but I don't like the thought of putting money in like that for the sake of chance (I'm assuming we're talking a good amount of scratch on that....now $5 or $10 or somethin' I'd think about it but I'd also think it was a scam too and I'd still want to own my shit).
 
im like this i wouldnt pay to be on no one mixtape..unless its the big name DJs that are know to break New Artists..thats the only way..and it would have to be garenteed that my artist will be on there..sh!t aint got money to waste..
 
Where did you read this?

I've been paid to be on mixtapes for other people, but I've never paid to be on one... that's not smart business.
 
its was a major fight on the soundclick boards about this...
 
The mixtapes I'm go' be on I don't need to pay for, so I'm OK.
