Mixing

Hello group,

I need some help with mixing.

I use CW Sonar producer 3. I sent tracks to out board when mixing, thinkin this will best give me the warmth, punchy dynamic sounds.

I have a good board Tascam M3500. I recorded all my audio tracks throught Tube preamps. Still don't get good results.

My final mixes are weak and cheap compare to other home recording. What did I go wrong?

Any help or suggestion is apprecited.

Which tube preamps did you use? (the wrong answer would be ART, DBX, or ROLLS..... any of these would be "faux tube")
