I was wondering if fellow musicians might help me with some mixing tips. I think I get carried away with the reverb sometimes, and regardless I'm not sure how my music sounds on other people's speaker systems.

I'm using a Sb-Live! and a JV-1010, that's it.

Please check out my music at mp3.com/beyondmusic and let me know if I use too much reverb in my recordings, or if anyone has advice for improvment. Also, my recording with Sb-Live! seem to lose a lot of volume, and I can't seem to regain it even by normalizing??

Anyway, please check them out.

look around and make a search on this site, there's a million good info on mixing here. :)

as for low volume, what software do you use for tracking?

I am using SBLive! too, I track with Cakewalk and do some "mastering" with Soundforge to bring up the volume.
of course you would not have a big problem with volume if you do your tracking as hot as possible.
