I have a Yamaha 4416 hard disc recorder. I have a small room I use for tracking, but it's completely inadequate for mixing. I don't have a lot of options for "the perfect room' so this is what I thought I'd do: Bring it home, set up the 4416 in the middle ofthe living room, put the power amps in the bedroom, and set up my JBL 4406's and my passive Event 20/20's. Plus a crappy set of altec computer speakers out of the head phone output. Given the limitations, any suggestions to make this mixing situation better? I'm open to suggestions.....
