Hi,
Ok I moved the mic out into the open room and tried doing a little eq on this one. I am using a ssl channel on the lead vocal and just a regular "waves eq" bax on the chorus. I've tried reducing the bounce by adding some reverb and turning down the head room some. I have doubled up the lead vocal and the chorus to make it sound full. Any thing i need to remove or add to make this sound better? I'm convinced now it's a mic and pre thing... digi 002 direct with mic... not good... I still need to create an open area in my room and add some foam panels. The open room does make the vocals sound... like vocals at least... just not ready for a final thou. This is a ruff run.. the lead vocal needs another take.. i hear papers rattling and he started mumbling at the end.
