LemonTree
Suck 'em and see!
An old song from about 12 years ago that I rerecorded. It's slightly punky/new wave/rock.
BLAMELESS Hi-Fi
BLAMELESS Download
Drums: Programed samples in Fruity loops
Bass: DI through desk
Guitars: Behringer V-Amp Pro
Vox; Studio Projects B1
Desk: Allen & Heath Saber 24/16/16/2
A/D Convertors: Delta 1010s (x2) + Delta 410 (x1)
Recording Medium: Cool Edit Pro
Mixing medium: Cubase SX back to the desk via Delta 1010s
Ok, I think I got quite a good mix for the music with this one. Drums never sound right (to me anyway) when there programed. I just upgraded from the V-amp to the V-amp pro so the guitars were recorder 24/44.1 via s/pdif for a change. Backing vocals, I think being drunk she just hung off the mic too much and got a lot of the room in the recording.
outboard I used; Lexicon MPX100, Alesis Microverb III, Behringer Composer MDX 2100.
Plugins I used; Antares Mic Modler to liven up the drum samples, Blockfish on snare and lead vox, Antares tube on the snare and some guitars, Amplitube on the solo,
Wrung the lot through T-Racks 24 without trying to go overboard but I probably did as usual.
....I'm just looking for some honest feedback if you have the time to spare, thanks
Alec.
