i have a few signal routing questions that someone might be able to help me with. first off.. the equipment i have to work with:

Computer
M-Audio Delta 44 soundcard (4 1/4'' in and out jacks)
Behringer Eurorack MX802A mixer
http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/MX802A.aspx
Behringer Reference amp
Boss RC-2 loop pedal
Sonar v.3

for years i was just using it for digital recording, very simple setup. guitar/mic's sent thru pre-amps directly to the Delta 44 in's.
outs from the Delta 44 to the mixer for monitoring thru amp/headphones. worked great.

lately i've been getting into internet broadcasting, playing music live, and need to set it up so i can run all instrument thru the loop pedal (when and if needed) along with live signals thru the mixer into the soundcard for the broadcasting. the Delta 44 comes with a fairly extensive software mixer where i can set the output to "mix" to play backing tracks directly thru the soundcard, which is working alright. my question is how to route everything thru the mixer, using what's given in this model, to play live, loop AND then when not broadcasting to be able to do my recording into Sonar as i used to do. i have a set up now that works for the looping end of things but when i go to record in Sonar and already have one track recorded, the signal from that track is ALWAYS being picked up by the next track when the record and monitor switchs are on in Sonar. i'm thinking it might be a routing problem in the Delta 44 software mixer but it also might be how i have the hardware mixer hooked up.

so my 2 problems are how to best hook up the mixer for broadcasting with loop capabilities and at other times be able to record in Sonar without signals bleeding thru.

any ideas, insights or other help?

thanks
jim
