I want to buy a mixer for my homestudio.
I need to handle the four audio outputs on my soundcard and those of a sampler i am going to buy soon. What do you think should I buy?
I mean something affordable?

There are a lot of choices for a home studio. Mackie had been cranking out some nice mixers lately. I think a 16 channel will run around $900 - a 12 channel a couple hundred less. I have a Yamaha MX12/4 mixer. it has 12 channels and 4 busses. It works pretty well, has low noise, and has some versatility. I payed $450 for this mixer - it may be a little cheaper now.

I have a Roland VS-840EX 8 track digital, and with the Yamaha it makes a great team.
