Mixer again, but more detailed

I might be getting some drum mics (audix Fusion 4 drum mic package) and I was talking to a friend who said I would need something to use before getting all the tracks recorded (Mixer?). My question is kind of a newbie question but it also is a bit more specific. I've been doing a little research, not reading mixer manuals but looking at pictures of their knobs and whatnot, some of my questions being answered about volume and stuff. I found 2 mixers that seem simple and basic enough to do the trick, Yamaha MG10/2 Mixer and Behringer UB1202.

Unfortunatly I've heard from this forum that Behringer might not be a good choice as far as support is concerned. should I be worried too much about support or would I be better of sticking to the Yamaha?

go witht he yamaha, the ber. stuff has noisy pres, bad support, and def isnt as rugged as other brands. The yamaha is far more likley to last you a several years, where the ber. may last 3 months to a year, longer if your lucky. I had a ub1202 that crapped out after 6months of using just in my practice space for vox. the power supply inside the unit just decided to burn up one day.

Hi guys I can definatly vouch for the yamaha MG10/2.

I used it live for the first time today and i found the sound quality far better then my behringer compact mixer.
Nice claen sound.

Go with the yamaha.
I have a yamaha (MG32/14fx) and a small 6 channel Behringer. The Yamaha is a much better board. The Behringer is noisy compared to the yamaha.
