Mixcraft any good

Hi!

I've been recording amateurly with Mixcraft(now 6) for a long time and I know there's plenty of DAW's out there- I'm wondering if the DAW I'm using is good enough to make some good quality tracks for my kind of music? Or should I just stick to what I'm used to(cause it also makes sense)? I mainly record/produce Metal music btw.
 
(i dont know if my first reply went thru) you should be good. im using mixcraft 6 as well. im making goregrind/death metal songs on it. ive been using it to create drum beats, and they sound decent. but ive been using mixcraft 6 for my pornogrind/death metal project, and it seems to be good. i did a bunch of research and reviews for different DAW programs, and chose mixcraft. havent had any problems. i watched a lot of tutorial videos and reviews to help me figure out the program. im new to home recording, this was my first DAW. im sure other experienced members have better suggestions
