Mix: where would be the best place to

I see deaf people
stick up some tracks for a mix contest/practise/something to do when you're bored


I just finished Zappas "Wet t-shirt night" for mixing practise (plenty going on in there) and thought it would be a good one to share..folks could even tracks their own parts on it as most of it is midi at the moment

would there be any interest???

wasnt there a thread somewhere for this kind of mix thing, I thought plenty of the newbs (like myself) would enjoy the challenge..:confused:
 
maybe you could record some out of phase snare for it? ;) :p

I thought it might be interesting...plenty seem to ask for audio files to mix?? <shrugs shoulders>
 
Hellz yeah, there's never too many songs to mix...

It shouldn't be a problem if it's a cover as long as no one is stupid enough to try and make any money off of it. So there probably shouldn't be any prizes or anything. But just for the fun of it, it's always a good idea.

I suppose you could make your own thread in the mix clinic and host the files somewhere with a link...no?
 
I dont think anyone will make any money on my audio files, no matter how good their mixing is lol...

OK Ill set it up in the MP3 clinic and stick a post in the newb forum...the best part is taking apart his compositions shows how much of a genius Zappa was...its really quite a task just to get everything at the right levels let alone mix it all...

I can host the files for download in dropbox I think...
