Mix My Song!!!

i've gotten a lot of comments on the bass. nothing magic, i just re-amped it to get a sound i liked better.
 
yeah, that was my guess. Did you put it through a real amp, or did you use a plugin?

No, thank you...this is an honor to have people take the time play with my tracks.

Make sure you post in the MIX-OFF section of my forum, Perdicament. Just post in the first thread "Here it is...continued". Thanx, man.
 
Alright .... gotcha I'll post it over there too... thanks for the info...and again thanks for the tracks...you don't know how much I've been dying to try to mix someone elses stuff, espically with decent sounding well recorded tracks (and a good tune I might add) .... This is my first time..."awwww look at the noob, how cute"

a friends ampeg combo, that just happens to be at my house currently.
otherwise i probably would have re-amped it into my sans amp di.
which i'll bet would have worked fine, but i really like amps if i have the option.
something about the air between the speaker and the mic seems irreplaceable to me.
 
OK, we have 15 mixes up. You can go to the "MIXES" thread in the "MIX-OFF" forum to see all the links. Might be a good time shut it down and start the judging. 15 is a good number for 3 judges to handle, I think.

But if anyone has a mix that isn't finished, don't worry, we;ll wait. Just let me know by tomorrow at midnight if you want us to wait.

True, if you want to contact people to do some judging, that would be great. But, I was joking when i said I saw delegating it to you, so if you don't want that responsibitly, it's cool. Still hope you'll be a judge either way.

LOL! I don't mind RAMI....I like a bit of delegating myself....almost as much as I like being delegated to.... ;)

I am working on getting the judges now. Waiting on replies. :) :) :)

CIRO, I am having problems with the download, the server doesn't answer my request. Anybody else having problems?

Well, it counts everytime I try to download, but the download doesn't start. I just tried again 2 times, but it doesn't work for me. I'll just try again later.

thanks , RAMI ... NESSBASS is having troubles with server too..(I did another download now, to me is ok .Well , "internet issues" :eek: ...

Just to let you know, I was able to download your song, and to let you know, you did a good job on the the mix.
 
Was able to download the first three minutes now, but took a very long time. Maybe it's because I'm on the other side of the pond, I don't know. As far as I can tell, the first three minutes are well mixed. :D
 
CIRO...nice, punchy mix. I like. A little drier than some of the mixes, too, which works. Cool stuff my friend. Cool ending too. That works!
