This mix sounds pretty good. Vocal sound is a little harsh. Also, the main organ gets a little grating. You should throw in a variation somewhere, give the song a subtle difference to keep the listener interested. It gets pretty boring quick, musically that is, and the track is short, so that's not good. Also, a chorus break would help. The bass thumps nice though. That's about all I can comment on the mix, though something about the whole thing lacks groove. Things have probably changed from the hip hop I listened to growing up. Bands like Public Enemy, NWA, Tupac, Biggie, Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Ice Cube, Jurassic 5 (I'm 36, can you tell:eek:)

quite difficult to comment on this as what might be considred repetetive might acctually be the whole point to the track.. however..the voice sounds thin ...its not dominant ..black guy wants to be dominant ..not gay ..maybe you need to eq..maybe double track ..the vocal needs to be the track.

there were bits 3/4 of the way through that sounded cool!! the track could be good.

Thought the mix sounded decent, maybe a little muddy. You might wanna EQ some of the instruments, I thought the vocals ducked the organ and one other instrument a couple times.

personal preference though really, I like keeping my vocals up front
