Mix and reward 150$

indeed, he's barely posted in weeks. but to tell you the truth I just wanted something to practice mixing on that wasn't my own material. so it was fun anyway.

I'm referring to the sound of a sampled kit.

Of course not all the time. I just mean a majority of records that are coming out.
 
ie, a kit that sounds like whoever recorded it knew what they were doing.

personally I was kind of tipped off when he made the "mistake" of saying the 20th instead of the 30th. plus not posting at ALL except to say that, for several weeks.

let me thank all of you who posted mixes on this site and emailed them to me as well

the winner of this contest is a man named marc mason
in case any would like to hear this mix considering it was one emailed to me
i will post it later this afternoon
 
i realize 150 is not alot of money to mix an album
so
the winner said he didnt want to do it

a little while later
i think i will do another one of these
more organized and what not
but next time it will be one song whoever wins sends me the winning mix and receives 50 dollars does that sound fair(er)?
 
that sounds fair pricewise... $50 = 1 song mix

but the fact that this has been a waste of time kinda sucks
 
it's not a waste of time if you learned something from it.

mixing 12 songs for $150 is a bigger waste of time

and I don't care that I didn't win, but choosing a mix by someone who didn't even post their entry in the thread is kinda gay.
 
Yeah $50 a mix is more like it.
Im interested to hear the winners mix.
