Hi!

I'm using Cubase AI4.

I have installed a synth called Atmosphere and in the end of the install process you get the information that it has been installed as a plug in, and will be accessible through the recording program in use.

But in the Cubase "Add Instrument Track" you sstill get the info "No VST Instrument".
What can I do so that Cubase find the Atmosphere plug in?

Up in the menus at the top, select "VST Instruments". A drop down menu will come up and you need to select the instrument there before you can access it from a track.

Cubase has a great "help" section in the menu and always go there first when you get stuck.

good luck!

Thank you for the answer.
In the dropdown menu "VST Instruments" you see only "No VST Instrument" and "HalionOne."
I have not found info in the Cubase manual how to install and make
Cubase find the plugin.

You have put the plugin file in the wrong place.

During the installation of plugins you have to indicate to places. First where to put the program and second where to put the plugin itself. Most of the time the program location is already correct and you can just click on yes, but in case of the plugin location quite often you have to select it youself.

It is probably called atmosphere.dll.

Try to find it. It is probably somewhere under Program files.

You must put it under Program files/Steinberg/Vstplugins.

Cheers
