I've had a portable mindisc recorder (Sony MZ-R91) for about six months now. I'm going to college next fall. So I'd like to get a mic for my minidisc recorder. I would use it for recording some concerts and for recording lectures in college maybe. Basically I just want an all-purpose mic for recording at a good distance. I don't want to spend any more than $100 on one. Could you guys help me out and recommend a good mic for me.
Thanks a lot.
Mike

I don't remember the model # but Sony makes a stereo mic that plugs right into your type of machine.Check their website.Cheers!

The stereo mic that virtual.ray is talking about is pretty cool (for a mic that size). Don't know how much they cost - seen them for 90 pounds in the UK (okay, it was a Sony shop), and I bought mine for about $100AUS in Singapore (which is heaps cheaper than 90 quid)

Either way, they are pretty nice, and I've used them to record all sorts of things. There no RodeNT, but still pretty good.
