intrested in buying a mac mini... for home use and maybe some studio...

but the big thing is i need duel display.... anybody know of anyway i can get the mac mini to have 2 monitors?

I think somebody sells a USB to VGA/DVI converter. I remember seeing it on a forum once, but I can't remember where. Why not do a Google search for something like that? Just type "USB adapters" or "USB converters". Holler back with your results.

A dual display might be easier, a duel display would be two monitors that are designed to fight each other. That might not be useful.

Power Macs have dual display and you can change cards. Mac minis do not.
Mac is a generic term for Power Mac, iMacs, iBooks, Power Books, and minis
each of which have different expandibilty options. Obviously the Power Mac and Power Book are the professional line and have way more options.

Right. The Mac Mini, AFAIK, has its video chipset (ATI?) on the motherboard, and AFAIK, only has one monitor connector.

There are, however, some folks who have hacked their iMacs to do spanning (rather trivially). The bottom price for a G5 iMac is pretty close to a fully decked out Mac Mini plus a decent 17" flat panel by the time you factor in the cost of a keyboard/mouse and extra hard drive space. It's also probably a better choice for audio recording, since the Mini is a G4 with a laptop hard drive, while the iMac is a G5 with a desktop hard drive....
