Kk im getting into recording with my pc and i think i basically understand midi and as i understand it, programs such as cubase etc offer "virtual instruments" that can be controlled by midi? Does that mean that if i use the midi out on my keyboard i can play some notes into the program, and then choose what sound/tone/effect i wish to apply to that peticular set of notes??
