Hi. I'm using Cubase SX3. My midi track is set to 127 and I cannot raise the level of each key (synth uses dynamics - must stay the same). Is there a gain plugin or other way to do that?

Thanks

a) turn everything else DOWN or

b) render the track to audio and then slap a compressor on it (of course that will kill the dynamics of the track if you hit it too hard....)

Increase the VST and MIDI volume. As altitude said... these two are different thing.

On the mixer, you should change the channel of the MIDI CHANNEL to be the same you're using.
If you use a Drum map and try to set the volume on the mixer, it won't work, because by default the mixer channel will control the MIDI channel 1 volume.
For the drum map you should use channel 10, which is by default the channel for the drums sounds on the MIDI sound bank of a soundcard.
