I have just bought a Yamaha Dg stomp.

I also download some patches from the Yamaha site and hope to load them into the stomp.

according to the website, the patches are in a MIDIEX format file (.mid) and can be loaded to the stomp via a Midi Storage device.

Now, I don't have a Midi Storage Device, is there anyway I can load the patch file to my stomp via PC??

Please help!

Thanks! :)

With the right software and connection to your soundcard's MIDI port, you should be able to make the transfer.

Look for an applet from Yamaha's website.

Any sequencer program should be able to load and play midi system files. As Krakit suggested they should have a program available. I know the Pod uses SoundDiver so you could check out the SoundDiver software.

hmmm, I've actually tried doing that with CWPA9... but it can only load SysEx files.... it can't recognise the .mid....

thanks for the help....
