MIDI recording trouble

I have an HD-1 Roland electric drum kit and a M-audio midisport uno. I have the midi-out plugged into the drum kit and the USB plugged into my computer. I downloaded MultiTrack Studio and tried recording, but it doesn't seem to be working. any tips or advice?

Are you having trouble recording the MIDI signals, or are you looking for an audio recording/playback? MIDI is not audio - if you want to record the audio, you have to record the signal from the software you are using to 'make' the sounds.
