Hello all. I've been recording guitar tracks for some time through Cool Edit Pro. Recently, I've decided to step it up so I could record drums via Drumkit From Hell Superior. So, here's my problem:
I have recently purchased the following:
Cubase SE
Drumkit From Hell Superior
and
M-Audio Keystation 49e
Now, with all of this, I assumed I could properly record drums, with Cubase running the DFHS and it being controlled by my midi controller. Now, I can see that Cubase recognizes the M-Audio, because of the audio levels. Whenever I hit a key, the audio level moves, as though sounds were occuring. However, I CAN'T HEAR A BLOODY THING. Now, like I said, I'm new to this, so is there anything I'm missing?
Somebody, anybody-- tell me what I'm missing!
Thanks in advance!
PS: I've been reading on M-Audio's site about midi interfaces, various soundcards with midi i/o, etc-- would this have any effect on one's ability to hear midi-based sound?
