Midi Rack System Help!!!

Hi

I'm new in the Rack Midi System stuff... (and in the Forum too)
I play Git. like for 10 years now, in Hard Rock, Metal... and I always used Multieffects like KorgAX, DigiRP, and all this all in one effects...

Now I started with the idea to make my Rack System...
The rack that I was thinking...

Guitar
Marshall JMP1 (as PreAmp)
Rocktron Chameleon (Effects, Hursh, hot imput)
Power Amp ???? Stereo and Valves
BOX 4X12

Do you think that is gonna work out ...???
I go first to the Marshall from the Marshall OUTput i go the Imput (front of the Chameleon) and from that I go Stereo out to the PowerAmp and Box...

At the moment I have ONLY a Chameleon2000...

Do you know the differenses between them:
Chameleon (OLD)
Chameleon On_line
Chameleon 2000
??????????????????????????

I'm also looking for some OnLine Help...
I wanna read about Loop, Pre, PowerAmps, conection... router
if you know some good Site, is gonna be great!!!

ok... and this has exactely what to do with MIDI?? hehe

On the other hand, I have no idea what the diffrerence between the chameleons are... but other than that the rack sounds like it's efficientely routed.
You can in fact route it like you want to basically, but with small differences.
Like, distorting a guitar and putting reverb on it sounds different than taking a reverbed guitar and distorting it...
