Hey guys, silly question...

I have a few units that I would like to hook up to my computer (for updates and on-screen graphical interfacing). The Connections are via MIDI. Problem is I have no MIDI ports on my computer. Do I need some type of MIDI card to install in my computer or is there a go between box that hooks to one of the existing ports (usb?)??? Also if you could direct me to a web-site where I can purchase what I need at a good price. Please help. Thanks in advance!!!

If you have a soundcard like a soundblaster awe64 or comparable you can just buy the midi cable that connects to the midi/joystick output on the card. Otherwise a lot of people like the USB interfaces from midiman (2x2 gives you 32 midi channels) and MOTU (fastlane). Roland and Emagic also have usb models. I just bought a Fastlane to expand my system but haven't had a chance to hook it up yet.
