Rzzzzz!
Looking for something to play the role of a Roland PG-800. For anyone that does not know what a PG-800 is, it's a controller/programmer (looks like a funky mixing console) that allows you to edit patch parameters using sliders and such as opposed to the menus found on programable synths like my Roland JX-8P. These are scarce and command a high price at online auction (eBay).

I've been making my own patches using the punch and and change method for a long time now, but I'd like to experience the ease of tactile programing for a change.

I'm aware that there are products like the Phat-Boy (knobs only) that will do some of the things a PG-800 will do, are there any others? What keywords should I be searching for on eBay?

I've recently won a Niche control surface. Is it possible that I've already got what I need to do patch edits via hardware?

Please help.
