Midi Keyboard for me?

Alright I should say I'm running Pro tools LE 6.7 on a mac. I would like to get a midi keyboard for simple melodies run through reason or sampletank. I need no sounds from the keyboard itself. I also will probably use it to overdub certain drum hits. I would like a 49 or 61 keyboard in case I do need to actually play some sort of piano style part. I would like to spend as little as possible since it is more a fun purchase than something I need.

I am just wondering who has a similar setup and what you guys use and recommend. I have heard some horror stories of certain keyboards just not syncing with types of recording programs. Any suggestions would be great.
 
Dude go to m-audio.com click on products then midi controllers, They came out with a few new ones and m-audio have different key numbers that should help. I think M-audio are the best MIDI Keys.
