midi interface options

I'v got a midi keyboard that I want to try out with Reaper and no midi input on my soundcard. I have a POD 2.0 for my guitar with midi in/out. could I set up this way?

KB-POD-MIXER-INTERFACE(M AUDIO FAST TRAC)-PC(XP PRO)

should I look at another option? I'm not sure how much I'm going to use th KB

Check the POD manual... I'm not sure that will work though. It might be best to just try one of these out. Inexpensive, and they are just what you need. Or, go get a new keyboard with a USB out on it.
