Heya..

This is my first day messing with my new interface. I'm rather good/okay with Cubase as i've been studying midi for two years now but currently confused...

I've got a Tascam US-144 plugged into PC via USB with headphones attached.
Its set up as main Cubase soundcard so I can play guitar through interface and record plus hear back through phones.

But when using midi it plays it through my creative PC soundcard through main speakers not interface.. If I change the out on the tracks on Cubase I get Midi out on interface going green but nothing throughphones..

Is there no way to get the whole output of Cubase through the interface headphones/lineout?

Fiddle faddle with your INPUT/COMPUTER (mono mix) dial as well as you PHONES dial. you should be able to hear your mono input and the track you have playing back once you turn the phones up and turn the dial to the "2-4 o'clock" position.. Be sure your MONO switch in "on"
