Gotta a problem. Small issue, but I don't know if what I need is doable.
I have 2 keyboards talking to each other via MIDI. One a Kurzweil K2500 and the other a Novation Supernova II.
I have the Novation acting like a master in this instance so that I can play organ sounds inside my Kurzweil, while also playing the Kurzweil with other sounds.
No problem. This all works fine.
The Problem: When I happen to turn the volume control on the Novation, it sends Controller #97 information into my Kuzweil. Controller 97 happens to be the "Decrement Data". So, turning the volume, also makes my Setups/Programs change on my Kurzweil.
I checked this using the Kurzweil Utility feature to see what MIDI info. is being transmitted.
Can this controller be stopped in its tracks? Can it be filtered somehow?
I don't know how to begin to address this, other than knowing I want that particular Controller information to not get into my Kurzweil. Of course, I still need the Novation's keyboard info. (MIDI channel, note on / note off, etc.) to get through.
