midi files to audio

In Cubasis VST manual(p.173), it says that to make a complete mixdown containing both MIDI and audio you first need to record MIDI files onto audio Tracks in Cubasis VST. I can't find anywhere how to do this. Can anyone help. Thanks.

Recording Midi

Hi mate all you do is record your midi and then click an audio channel say channel 1 then press record! It then records it as an audio channel.
So you can exsport your mix simple really

Thanks , but when I do that all I get is a recording of nothing cause there's no input. Is there a way to highlight the midi tracks or something so they record on audio?
