Yeah I been drinkin, SO!?
I downloaded the Reason demo, and was so impressed that within a couple days I bought it. Wanting to get a dedicated midi controller for my desk instead of using either of my fairly large keyboards, I found a deal on the cme u-key. I snapped it up quickly because it was refurbished and likely in short supply at that price ($99). I don't usually buy instruments without doing research or trying them out first, and I'm nervous. Is CME an ok brand usually? ny horror stories? If it's crap, any recommendations for a relatively cheap controller with 40+ keys and trigger pads? I noticed the cme has on-board sounds and speaker, but I have no need for stuff like that. Just something to work reason with.
