He posted a map for better description. That beats trying to explain it to me. Now I understand wher he's from. :)

Thanks

haha indeed...I just wanted to ask you because over here in Europe, those boards are not hard to find.

Hey Mo what's in your setup man? I'm thinkin about stackin back some for some more gear.

My setup?

Emagic AMT8 interface

Studio Projects B1 microphone

E-mu SP-12 Turbo
Roland DJ70 sampler **FOR SALE**
Yamaha DJX1
Yamaha SK-10 ensemble keyboard (from around 1980)
Crumar Jazzman Electric Piano/Synth (1976)

Studiomaster Sessionmix 16-2 analogue console +8 ch expansion
Vermona 70's graphic EQ
Yamaha NS10m monitors+Alesis RA-100 Amp

on my short-term wishlist:

Behringer BCF2000 controller
Roland SP-404 (comes out in september)

BUT...untill now I've been strictly computer based...using my laptop and m-audio mobilepre.. had some G.A.S. attacks recently...lol

Bought the PC to replace my old laptop, and it was only yesterday I bought the 1820m...

So actually I haven't really used most of my gear..haha

Plus haven't found a room near my college yet, so at the moment I don't have a place to put all this....so I'll be strictly PC a little longer.

I'm a complicated guy. :D

ceers guys, thanks for helping, unfortunately its a small island and really hard to find all this stuff and even if we it will cost double the amount what we can pay over the internet + shipping.i've made up my mind. going for a CME keyboard. Thanks for helping.

Cheers

No prob at all funaki....and mo yeah you're complicated but you're cool.

I'm working on a PC that I'm slowly but steadily rebuilding and a laptop

The new PC is going to have 3 hard drives: a 40 gig for my master and 2 80 gig slaves (one strictly for my beats and songs and one for my other misc. stuff)

I've got dual display right now but I'm debating on killing that and going with a widescreen LCD. All I do with the 2nd screen is have my mixer in Cubase there so it's not cluttering up my screen.

So aside from the 2 80 gig hard drives I'll buy, I'm also switching out the mb and cpu (and getting the LCD if I decide to) then I'll be straight for a while on the PC.

Edit: As for equipment, I use Reason 3 on both computers. A M-Audio Oxygen8 for the laptop and then a Roland XP-10 with a Behringer mixer and amp (it's the Ultragain, not that IMP crap...I hate that), Behringer compressor, Cubase SX on the PC, and a BrandX condenser mic with pop filter.

Wishlist:
MPC 1000 - 2000 is too bulky for my desk space and the 1000 is cheaper and can do much of the same thing.

Triton Rack - I figure the rack would do me more good than the Extreme because I can sync it in with what I already have.

Korg d1200mkII. I don't know why I love this mixer so much but I just do....I think it'd help when and if I add console to my setup.

Yeah LCD is mos def cool...Widescreen LCD's are pretty rare, still... I bought a 19" LCD from LG for my new computer, it's cool because you can have a higher resolution, so you can fit more stuff onto your screen...might be a good idea for you since you don't use your second screen all that much.

True....only widescreens I've seen are on Dell. Those would set me back about $500

I know I'm gonna spend all weekend mixing down beats....but it'll be worth it since my domain won't be set up for another week.
