I have been doing some research in this area. It is still rather new in that, not many people are doing it that I can tell. decabox-midi-to-dmx-bridge/ this is a midi to DMX converter. I would love to experiment with this, but you would need all of the stuff. There is some information out there on it, but the first thing is a MIDI to DMX converter. After that, I think it is just a mapping.
