MIDI cable problem!HELP!need Schematic

My keyboard,KORG x5d, was pluged to my computer with the host cable in the pc serial port.
But now this serial port doesn t work.I don t know wy!

How can i build an Y midi cable to plug my keyboard to the soundcard???
Do you have a good schematic?

I can i test the serial port to see if i it still work!

the dump process stiil work with this Y cable?

You can't.

You connect MIDI stuff in series. Plug your sound card to your keyboard, and then plug your keyboard to whatever else you have.
