midi - audio channel

Hi i wonderd if there is a way to loop a midi channel into an audio channle in cubase sx 3. so what ever is inputed on the midi channel with ouput though an audio channel so i can add a vst plugin to it (BFD DURMS)

Just an idea but....maybe you could export your midi file as a mix down...then take that mix down which is now a wave file and import it back to Cubase.... then you can use any plug in you want.
