I've been resisting the installation of SP2 because of some rumors I heard regarding problems with Cool Edit.

Have any of you installed SP2 and had troubles with Cool Edit or with AA?

I would like to install it because the computer on which I have CEP must have internet access too. I'm interested in the security that SP2 is supposed to offer.

I have SP2 on both my computers. One is used for internet and graphics, and the other is for recording, using AA 1.5. Both run like trains. Adobe says the only issue is the online Help file, but the workaround is explained on their website. I have experienced 0 issues. Ditto with my wife's laptop, XP + SP2, but hers is used mostly for internet and word processing.

yea i had both on my pc running sp2 i had no problems either....works like charm....love the new aa 1.5 nicely done... :p
