With all the different types of microphones out there (condenser, dynamic, whatever) at all different price ranges, I was wondering are there certain types of mics that optimize a person's voice pitch and tone quality for singing purposes? And are there mics that are better for rapping purposes that might pick up clarity of the words better and sound crisper to keep faster verses from sounding mumbly?
I myself do a lot more hip hop and rap so if there are any suggestions for better rapping mics I would appreciate it. I going basic right now with the Shure SM57.
