Micing an accordion

A band I'm working with is using an accordion, anyone have experience micing one for live shows?

I modded an EV podium mic capsule and clipped it to the treble side on mine.

Works beautifully...

I mic'd one for a recording once just using XY with my NT1a mics. Sounded pretty good to me!

I believe I used an EV RE27 for a song years ago, but it was in the studio and not live. Using great compression is the key to making it sound right in the mix.
